Swanky....

I've decided: Toronto is very "swanky," in the words of a good friend. Dez came to visit TO this week, and it was just really nice to see her again after six months of separation. We had an airport scene and everything: running into each other's arms and jumping up and down, like high school girls.

And then it hit me: no matter how much has changed, no matter where I've been or who i've met or what i've seen, no matter what other experiences i've had - I will always love coming home and seeing my girls. There's just no substitute to some good 'ol fashioned estrogen. Here here!

So what did Dez and I do? I can sum it up in two words: Eat and Shop. The two necessities of any other female in this world. And the coolest thing is that she came down here to attend some medical conference. How swanky is that?! Doctors all sitting in a room discussing...um, well, medical things. It was a nice change from all this business stuff i've been doing.

And now my sister is coming to visit tonight. It's been quite the week! Lots of eating out, lots of non-sleeping, and a WHOLE LOT of shopping. *phew* This weekend is going to be so much fun!
