Coolest thing happened this morning at service. I met this girl named Megan out of the blue, and she's also an intern in Washington, working in the area of journalism. Well, what a coincidence, i tell her because I've also been kicking around journalism as a potential *something* in my career...it's more of a pipe dream than anything else. But she gets so excited and insists that we chat more about it, and she gives me these websites to follow up on journalism that I begin to think that these chance meetings aren't so much "chance" but God giving me an opportunity. And so i'm taking the opportunity, much like I take a bull by its horns (btw, how DOES one take a bull by its horns?? Dangerous, much?), and i hope that this is exactly what God wants me to do. Whether or not this pans out, it doesn't really matter. What matters is that I'm chasing the wind and loving every minute of it.
