I have no idea where I’m going in my life. Here are my choices:

Accountant: Already on the path…big obstacle, however, is whether or not I can handle the numbers. I just might have reached an intellectual barrier.

Journalist: would I really want a job here? And what kind of journalist, a reporter or a magazine writer or a political correspondent? Problem: lack of motivation to “chase the story” and potentially oppressive work environment. Is it too much pressure to perform, and would I really be good at it?

Foreign Service Diplomat: take the foreign service exam and travel abroad and work in a job just like the officers at the Canadian Embassy. Problem: The potential to get bored is quite high.

Political Assistant (ie. legislative staffer): Definitely tried and true idea pace of work environment, always learning new things, macro-economic themes which is a definite area of interest. Problem: how would I go about getting a job in this area when I don’t have any connections?

Museum Curator: touring the holocaust museum, how cool would it be to create a museum in particular for the Chinese history and culture? A little bit of event planning and project management.

Small Business Owner: open my own coffee shop/ used bookstore/ B&B. Potential locations include: Old town Alexandria in Washington D.C., Oakville Ontario,
