Blog Comeback
Okay so you must be wondering, "what the heck has happened to Andrea's blog?" Sadly, for a period of about two months my blog mysteriously disappeared from cyberspace and I profusely apologize for this neglect on my part. I had no clue what was going on with it - i mean, what was up with the "spurlinx" redirection??! Ehhh i'm not a computer programmer and for good reason...

That being said, instead of updating everyone on the past two months (which will take altogether WAY too long) i'm just going to pick up where I am now. Besides, it's not as if this blog is for anyone but myself. Here's what i've decided about the role of my blog: It's the perfect combination between that which is introspective and entirely private, and those thoughts that I want to share with the people in my *sphere of influence* (fancy schmancy term for ppl in my life) but don't necessarily want to ramble on in the emails. Who really wants to read 15kb of my rantings? Honestly, no one – so the people i care about have the happy option of skipping right past all these stuff, or if they want explanation about what's going on in my head they have a pretty good source to refer to. (Note: particularly useful for parents looking to gain insight into odd teenage behaviour….although I’m not sure I’m comfortable with the idea of my parents reading my blog like this…hmmm, err)

So while I'm adamant that blogs should never replace one-on-one conversations (in person, over the phone, via email or otherwise), I think they occupy a space between those thoughts that are "baking" and those that I want to share with others.

And for some weird reason, my creative juices respond well with the whole blog concept. I don't know why, but somehow I just tend to write better about my thoughts here. So yup, here's my official comeback. And the thing is, I've been learning SO much in the past two months that it would be a shame to have it become lost forever in the recesses of my reclusive memory banks.

Okay enough ranting about the same stupid topic! A blog! Gosh. :)
