Home and Away

Well, that's another trip come and gone. It feels like yesterday when i was packing up to go back home to Calgary, and already i've just finished unpacking the last of my things. As always, i come back with a few new clothes and a better fed tummy. Already, i miss home!! There's nothing like the TLC of momma and papa - NUTHIN!

This entire trip, i was almost completely limited to 100% family time because i was so sick. I barely had enough energy to wake up each day, let alone see all the people i wanted to see. But it was such a blessing to have my family there, doting on me like i actually mattered. Sometimes i feel so lost and forgotten in the hubub of Toronto life, where no one really cares of you and you have to make sure you care for yourself that it's really nice to know that you always have a home to come to. Sure, it might be four hours away by air but still....home is home. And it is sweet.
