After a gruelling-intense-36-hour-locked-in-my-apartment session where my only human contact is Lydia....*breathe* Two exams are done. From the entire experience, i think i've come away with a few things...

1. Avoid the "numb bum" syndrome at all costs - it really detracts from your focus (bring a donut pillow if you have to).

2. Set your alarm clock to cbc radio 2. If you don't gain anything from studying, at least you'll seep in some useless world information from sleeping through half an hour of snoozes.

3. Stock up on the sugar. Fuzzy peaches, cherry blasters, oh baby and those sour keys. Ooh, and those real fruit gummies are soo addictive! Note: dangerous combination = sugar candies + coffee

4. Fill a pot of water and stick it in your room. It's what i like to call the "low tech humidifier." muahahhaaa

5. If you can't remember if you showered today, chances are you didn't so go shower now! (same goes for brushing teeth, putting on deodorant, cleaning your hamster...)

6. Appreciate the instant things in life. Like cereal. And bagged salad. And instant noodles. And instant oatmeal. And easy mac. And microwavable fish sticks. Just give in, you know you waaant some.

7. And, last but not least, one final quote. (ahem):
"Remember what your wife told you....yea, that one..Cottonnelle...."

Stay tuned next week for more adventures of "the young and the nerdy"...on boloh.blogspot.com!!
